Focus on Local goes Yokel!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Get your local news from the Tri County Record!  

Turn to page 17 - a special Agri-Business Issue published this week. There you will find my 1st Focus on Local project spotlighting B & H Organic Produce (Hartz Natural Food Store)!! 

I learned some great facts while reading the special section.

Did you know that Pennsylvania's number one industry is agriculture with $5.9 billion in sales?!  I was pretty amazed by the statistics in print.  I did not know that farming contributes an estimated $3.25 billion to our local economy (farm sales, employment, taxes, service industries). Staggering numbers to think about. . .

I'm doing a happy dance! 

The Tri County used 2 of my photos and just about my entire write up!  You can imagine how humbled, shocked, excited, nervous, and completely thrilled I am to be published in my local newspaper ~ more reasons to celebrate local economies!!

Announcing the 'Play is Child's Work' Winner!!!

Great big THANK YOUs to everyone that played along by purchasing raffle tickets for the Montessori Country Day School's annual fundraiser event! The raffle drawing will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18 at their Gala!  I hope and pray that ALL of the winners drawn will be my friends that bought tickets from us!!! That would be the icing on the cake!!

Montessori Country Day School is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to children and families and Dr. Montessori's theory of education. This fundraiser opportunity gives the school much needed funds to provide resources for their students and faculty. Without this important annual fundraiser, the school would not be able to provide affordable tuition.

So, here's how to play along:

What I am asking of you, if you want to be entered into a drawing for either a full photo session or an 11" x 14" ready to hang mounted fine art print of your choice is kindly (1) leave me a comment below - just telling me that "YES" you will play along and possibly which of the two you are interested in AND (2) send me an email (my3girlsphotography@gmail.com) with an address to mail you your RAFFLE TICKET.

The raffle tickets cost $10 each, and I ask that you would send the ticket with your name and contact info on it and seller (My 3 Girls Photography) directly to the Montessori Country Day School, along with your contribution. Basically, when you purchase at least 1 raffle ticket, you are automatically entered into My 3 Girls Photography's drawing opportunity.
